Orange and Poppy Seed Cupcakes

Orange and Poppy Seed Cupcakes topped with orange juice icing and orange jelly slices.

The Juice started to seperate a little. I do not reccomend using the rectangle version of these cases not in a bar tin pan! they went funny shaped!

Cupcakes for Work

I made a batch of 3 different types of cupcakes to take to work last Thursday.

Vanilla Butter Cakes with Strawberry Butter Cream Icing.

Lemon Sour Cream Cupcakes with Lemon Butter Cream Icing.

Vanilla Buttercakes with Raspberry jam swirled though the batter before baking and topped with Raspberry Butter Cream Icing made with real Raspberries.

So these have pretty much become my signature cup cake. They are so easy to make and most people seem to enjoy them. I bought some gingham cupcakes papers when we were in Mansfield for the opening of Cinnamon Stix a few weekends ago so I thought I would give them ago with my Lemon Sour Cream Cupcake.


I topped them with Yellow non-perials and little Jelly Lemon Slices.
